Super Celebration at Mounds Mall |
February 1, 2012) –
Part of the Super Celebration leading up to the Super Bowl, Mounds Mall will
be hosting an "Over the Wall Pit Stop Challenge" on Saturday from 10 a.m.
until 8 p.m.
The Minnesota Vikings themed NFL Team Indy Car will be on display from
Thursday through Sunday as part of the Super Cars Program. The Super Cars
Program is designed to take iconic Indy cars and fuse them with NFL
franchises to drive excitement and provide unique photo opportunities for
fans of every team.
Additionally, Brad Keselowski's Miller Lite Dodge NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Car along with some vintage race cars will also be on display at Mounds
Mall. Anderson Speedway will be represented with 2012 schedules and
additional information about the upcoming racing season. A pair of tickets
to the 64th Pay Less Little 500, Indianapolis 500, Redbud 300 and Brickyard
400 will be given away to lucky fans.

Gerster First to Enter Pay Less Little 500 |

31, 2012) –
Indiana competitor Brian Gerster and the Davis-Gerster Racing team were the
first to file an entry for the 64th Pay Less Little 500 slated for Saturday, May 26.
Gerster has made four starts in the Little 500 and is coming off his
strongest performance with a 10th place finish in the 2011 running of the
event.

The 64th Pay Less Little 500 entry form
for the 2012 edition of the event scheduled for Saturday, May 26
has been published. Teams that file entries for the Little 500 can enter the
12th Annual Glen Niebel Classic on Sunday, April 29 without paying an entry
fee.

USSA to Sanction 12th Annual
Glen Niebel Classic; 100-Lap
Little 500
Tune-Up Set for April 29 |

26, 2012) –
Officials from United States Speed Association (USSA) and Anderson
Speedway have announced that USSA will sanction the 12th Annual Glen Niebel
Classic Sprint Car race to be held on Sunday April 29 at the lighting fast
quarter-mile oval. The USSA Mel Kenyon Midget Series will join the non-wing
Sprint Cars for a full day of open wheel action.

Young Guns to Watch in 2012 |

ticket order form and lap sponsorship flyer for the 64th Pay Less Little 500
set for Saturday, May 26, 2012.
Ticket reservations are available for the legendary Pay Less Little 500 at
$28 per seat. All seats are reserved.
Individual lap sponsorship is available for $25 and the Heritage Program is
$400.

View From the Tower:
Redbud 300 Top Race |

16, 2012) –
For the second consecutive year the Redbud 300 proved to be the
best race of the 2011 season at Anderson Speedway, but there were plenty of
other highlights during the season that contended for the top honors.
The 2010 edition of the Red Bud 300 was going to proof tough to top after
Scott Hantz drove to a thrilling victory. But last year’s race had the fans
standing on their feet at the finish.
