HOWE CRA Late Model Sportsman Set for Final Season Appearance on
Saturday
The
Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series will return to Anderson Speedway on
Saturday, July 31 for the final appearance of the 2010 season. The WMDH
ThunderCars, Street Stocks and Front Wheel Drive Figure 8’s will also be in
action on Saturday night.

Scott Hantz Wins Thrilling Redbud 300; Busch's
Night Ends on Lap 118
If rubbing is racing the fans at Anderson
Speedway witnessed some of the best as they watched Scott Hantz hold off Brian
Johnson Jr. over the final 11 laps to win the Welch & Wilson Redbud 300
presented by Ed Martin Toyota & Great Deals Savings Magazine on Monday night.
Hantz took the lead at the halfway break by taking only two tires and held
defending Champion Racing Association champion John VanDoorn for 125 laps.

Wearing The Crown; Chapman Captures 61st Best Way Disposal National
Crown
For
60 laps Curtis Chapman showed plenty of patience in the 61st running of the Best
Way Disposal National Crown at Anderson Speedway.
For the first 60 laps the front running four cars of Josh Tharp, Chapman, Robbie
Allman and Rod Phipps ran nose to tail and was able to pull away from the rest
of the field.

Williams Gets FWD Win; Teepe, Williams Win Heats
Once Jeff Williams passed Brad Bell with 15 laps remaining in the Front Wheel
Drive Oval it was time for the fat lady to sing.
Williams started sixth in the feature event and quickly used the inside line to
gain positions.

Chapman Claims National Crown; Neal Wins Late Model Event
For
60 laps the top four cars ran in a conga line, but after repeated efforts to
take the lead in the Best Way Disposal National Crown, Curtis Chapman slipped
inside of Josh Tharp to claim the title at Anderson Speedway on Saturday.
Tharp set fast time and led the first 60 laps with Chapman, Rob Allman and Rod
Phipps strung together around the figure-8 course. Several times Chapman looked
for a way to get around Tharp to no avail. He was finally able to grab the
inside line going down the back straight and completed the pass in turn three.
Tharp slowed to a stop.
