10th Annual Bounce City New Year's Day Bash Set for Tuesday, January 1st

Anderson Speedway begins the 61st season of racing action on Tuesday, January 1, with the 10th Annual Bounce City New Year’s Day Bash. Featured divisions include Figure 8’s, Street Stocks, ThunderCars, Mini Cups along with Front Wheel Drives on the Oval and Figure 8.

In last year’s New Year’s Day Bash, nearly 100 cars raced on the World’s Fastest Quarter-Mile Oval on January 1. Three-time champion Rich Boyer won the Street Stock feature with Andy Shirley taking the Figure 8 checkered flag and Anderson’s Ronnie Phipps scoring the ThunderCar victory. Other winners included David Baker in the Front Wheel Drive Oval division and Nick Warner in the Figure 8’s.

On Tuesday, January 1, spectator gates open at 11 a.m. with the racing program going green at approximately 1 p.m.

General admission tickets will be priced at $10 for adults, $4 for children 6-12 with kids five and under admitted free. A limited number of tickets are available in heated suites for a price of $25 per person.
