Rain Showers Postpone Anderson Speedway Program
(August
13, 2011) – Rain showers forced Anderson Speedway officials to
postpone the racing action on Saturday, August 13. Willy’s Race featuring
the Late Models along with WMDH ThunderCars and Front Wheel Drive Figure 8’s
were set to compete on the high-banked quarter mile oval.
Willy’s Race has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 10 as part of
Cooper’s Family Night at the Races.
Anderson Speedway will return to action on Saturday, August 20 with a huge
night of racing on tap. The Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series will do
battle in a 60-lap event presented by Sam Pierce Chevrolet. The EDCO Welding
CRA Street Stocks, Figure 8’s, Last Chance Wrecker Thunder Roadsters,
Legends and Bandoleros will also be in action.
