Custom Door Products Night of Thrills Featured on Saturday

(April 19, 2012) – Racing action returns to Anderson Speedway on Saturday Night for the Custom Door Products Night of Thrills. The racing lineup includes IOFS Outlaw Figure 8's, Culver's Trailer Race, Cork Screw Race, Backward Race, IOFS Super Karts and IOFS Prime Design Graphix Compact Figure 8's.

The International Outlaw Figure 8 Series (IOFS) will feature three divisions of racing action Saturday night at Anderson Speedway. The new IOFS Outlaw Regional Series and the IOFS Super Karts will highlight the night's racing along with the Prime Design Graphix Compact Series season opener.

The IOFS Outlaw Regional Series was created during the off season to give Anderson Speedway the opportunity to run more events throughout the season without overloading the National schedule. The Regional events will have a slightly different format and will all be 30-lap events. All the IOFS regulars are expected to participate in addition to new drivers or drivers who haven't compete in the Outlaw Figure 8 division at Anderson Speedway in some time including: Ronnie Rose, Jon Conklin, Chris Green, Mike St. John, Josh Tharp, Shawn Cullen, and Jeff Shackleford among others.

The new IOFS Super Karts and Prime Design Graphix Compacts will both kick off their 2012 schedule at Anderson Speedway Saturday night. The IOFS Super Karts are a new addition to the IOFS umbrella for 2012. The series will feature a 12-race schedule consisting of local tracks: Mt. Lawn Speedway, Speed Creek Raceway, and Anderson Speedway. They have previously competed at Anderson Speedway in years past under the NASKART banner. The NASKARTS last ran at Anderson Speedway in 2000.

Joe's Value Construction has announced that they will be the Fast Time sponsor for 2012 at all Regional and National Outlaw events. They will present the Fast Time winner a $100 bonus at each of the Outlaw series events in 2012. In addition, it was announced that Prime Design Graphix will be the official sponsor of the Compact series in 2012.

The Custom Door Products Night of Thrills will also feature entertaining events with the Culver's Trailer Race, Cork Screw Race, and a Backward Race.

On Saturday, April 21, spectator gates open at 4 p.m. with the racing beginning at 7. Admission is $12 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.
