Culver's Extravaganza / Anderson Speedway 65th Anniversary Party Reset
for Sunday, September 16
(September 4, 2012) –
Officials of Anderson Speedway are glad to announce a special event
on Sunday, September 16. The Culver’s Extravaganza / Anderson Speedway 65th
Anniversary Party presented by MAX 93.5/96.7 FM will feature the fastest
Figure 8 cars at the speedway, the International Outlaw Figure 8 Series
(IOFS), along with the IOFS Front Wheel Drive Figure 8s, IOFS Super Karts,
G.W. Pierce Front Wheel Drive Oval and track mayhem in the Culver’s Trailer
Race.
In addition to all this racing action, you’ll have a chance to race on the
high banks of Anderson Speedway in the Spectator Races. This racing is
adrenalin packed excitement and your chance to show off your machine. And an
extravaganza party like this just wouldn’t be complete without concluding
the night with FIREWORKS!
Come out and enjoy the party. The party gates open at 3 p.m. when the
cars start practicing with racing action beginning at 6 and concluding with
Anderson Speedway’s, light up the sky fireworks. Adult admission is just
$12, children 6-12 are only $4, and FREE for those 5 and under. But don’t

The previously announced rescheduled date of September 23rd was changed due
to the rain outs at Winchester Speedway and other tracks in the area due to
hurricane Isaac's aftermath and Anderson Speedway's desire to accommodate as
many fans and competitors as possible.
