Exciting 2013 Schedule Announced

(December 5, 2012) – Action Entertainment has released the tentative 2013 racing schedule for Anderson Speedway that celebrates its 66th season on the high-banked quarter-mile oval. The Speedway will continue to showcase McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models, Street Stocks, WMDH ThunderCars along with Front Wheel Drives in the Oval and Figure 8 action.

The schedule is packed with many special events and touring series in an effort to give the fans a wide variety of entertainment. Highlighting these will be the 65th Pay Less Little 500 on Saturday, May 25th with the top asphalt Sprint Car racers in the country. Leading up to the historic event, Must See Racing Super Modifieds will compete on Monday evening with the Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series racing in their annual Wednesday night event.

One of Late Model Crown events, Late Model Weekend is back for a second consecutive season on July 20-21. The racing lineup features the JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance and MEP Late Models on Friday evening with the Saturday finale showcasing the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 with the ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models.

Other special weekends on tap in 2013 include Late Model/Open Wheel Kickoff on April 13-14. On Saturday, the ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models will do battle in their season opener with the Sunday program featuring USSA Sprint Cars in the Glen Niebel Classic. A brand new Retro Weekend – 1950’s Style is set for a debut in May 3-4 with the final of the two day events being the Stock Car Festival/Season Championship in early October.

Several touring series will make visits to Anderson Speedway including Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series, Must See Racing Super Modifieds, ARCA/CRA Super Series Late Models, JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance, IOFS Outlaw Figure 8’s, Top Speed Modifieds, Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series and Glow Modifieds.

Two big Nights of Thrills and the Marsh Supermarkets Figure 8 Madness on July 4th will continue to be some of the most popular and exciting nights at the Speedway.
