By Ken de la Bastide

(July 7, 2013) - Visiting Legends driver Jacob Schneider from Charlotte made his first visit to Anderson Speedway a memorable one.

He qualified second quick, won a heat race and held off three-time track champion John Robbins to win the feature.

Schneider led the first six laps, but on a restart was passed by both
Robbins and Josh Dietz. Schneider passed Dietz on lap 11 and started to close on Robbins.

Just when it appeared Robbins was on his way to the victory, he got
trapped behind a slower car with three laps remaining which allowed
Schneider to slip inside down the back straight.

Dietz finished third followed by Aaron Holden and Eric Black.
Robbins won the first of two heat races by passing Dietz with an inside move on the back straight.

Tony Holden finished third followed by Zach Holden and Marty Griffin.
Schneider led the entire distance to claim the second heat race with Aaron Holden, Eric Black, Cody Anderson and Mark Dietzen rounding out the top five.
