Erik Jones Joins Growing List of Entries for Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300; Dietsch, Robinson, Maynor and Cook Recent Entries

(July 15, 2013) - The list of entries to date for the upcoming Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 presented by Qdoba, Anderson/Madison County Visitors Bureau and Hoosier Park at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, July 20 continues to grow as 2011 inaugural JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Champion Erik Jones from Byron, Mich., is now entered and will be crew chiefed by two-time CRA Championship winner Scott Neal.

Jones scored huge Super Late Model wins in 2011 at New Smyrna Speedway and then beat Kyle Busch to win last December’s Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway.

For 2013, Jones is running a limited NASCAR Camping World Truck schedule with Kyle Busch Motorsports were he drove to a second-place finish this past Saturday at Iowa Speedway. Jones was chasing down eventual winner Timothy Peters, but had to settle for second, his best finish to date with NASCAR. Jones is also making selected ARCA Racing Series starts as well as racing in Super Late Model events when time allows. Jones will also compete in Friday night’s JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event at Anderson in the Scott Neal Racing #77 car.

Several other CRA competitors have now submitted entries for the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 including Ohio racers Nick Gullatta and Jason Dietsch, Indiana natives Tommy Cook and Brett Robinson and Wisconsin racer Robert Maynor. Cook will also being doing double duty by competing in Friday night’s JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event.
