Anderson Speedway Announces Super Late Model Return On Saturday, September 17

Action Entertainment Inc. has announced that Anderson Speedway added the Super Late Models to the Saturday, September 17, schedule of events. This will be the final appearance of Super Late Models during the 2005 season.

The Super Late Models will join the Indy URL Stock Cars, Limited Late Models and the Boss Hogg Catering & Jerky Figure 8’s on the Saturday, September 17 racing lineup. Spectator Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing scheduled to begin at 8.

Late Model racing has been a fixture at Anderson Speedway for many years with names such as Bob Fields, Vic Hellis, Jim Cooper, Dennis Miles, Ray Fullen, Rick Rhonemus and Brian Rievley enjoying success at the world’s fastest high-banked quarter-mile oval.

Anderson Speedway’s Super Late Model car specifications are identical to the 2005 CRA Super Series rules.
