Muncies Roger Caudill captured his first driving title at Anderson Speedway in 1989, winning the Street Stock championship. Caudill drove the car owned by Cheryl Caudill and Kevin Duckworth to six feature victories en route to the title and finished 47 markers ahead of Dalevilles Brian Rievley.

Rievley posted a strong second-place finish, winning three features in his own No. 1 car.

In a three-way tie, Kenny Tweedy, Terry Burton and Mark Goettman ended the 1989 season tired for third-place honors. Owner-driver Burton won five features, with Tweedy claiming two and Goettman visiting the winners circle once.

Other racers scoring Street Stock features included Rick Fields and Wes Russell Jr., with three wins apiece. Rick Hoy of Greenfield and Andersons Ronnie Phipps both won two features. Single-event winners were Terry Milikan, Bryan Bolton, Mike Palmer, Randy Newton and Ed Doutt.
