Mark Livesay Advances to SuperTrucks

After several seasons of competition with the Newco Metals Legends, Greenfield’s Mark Livesay will advance to the Ed Martin Auto Group SuperTruck division for the upcoming 2007 season at Anderson Speedway. Livesay will be a Rookie of the Year Candidate in the tracks premier division.

“We are looking forward to racing in the SuperTruck division this season,” said owner Claude Livesay. “We have enjoyed our time with the Legend division the last couple of years, but are excited about racing a larger vehicle. Our goal is to finish as many races and possible and challenge for the Rookie for the Year honors,” added Livesay.

In two and half years of Newco Metals Legends action, Mark Livesay scored 13 top 10 finishes. He produced two consecutive top-12 season point finishes with his best showing taking place last year, when he placed eighth. He scored two top-five finishes during the 2006 season and also scored a heat race victory.

In 2007, Livesay will receive sponsorship backing from Mt. Comfort RV, Custom Exteriors, Keith Electric Inc. and Doty Graphics in the Claude Livesay owned No. 12 SuperTruck.

The Ed Martin Auto Group SuperTruck season kicks off on Saturday, April 7.
