The new format for the Figure 8 division will likely produce many new faces when the division competes at Anderson Speedway this season. Terry Malone Jr. and Bobby Long will combine full-time in the Figure 8 division. Malone will race on the Oval with Long behind the wheel on the Figure 8.

Malone has already amassed an impressive resume in ThunderCar racing, earning both the Oval and Figure 8 championships. He captured the 2005 ThunderCar Figure 8 title aboard Herb Rose’s No. 66. He collected five feature wins and 16 top-five finishes en route to his title season. In the 2002 season, Malone earned the ThunderCar Oval championship and has amassed nine career victories.

Long is also a former champion of both the ThunderCar Oval and Figure 8 divisions. He is the current ThunderCar Oval victory leader with 14 checkered flags and has scored two Saturday Night Figure 8 victories.

During the 2007 season, Malone and Long will receive sponsorship from Signage Racing Graphics, House of Service Heating and Air, Joey Auler Builders, Mark's Affordable Auto Repair, Josh Newsomes Tree Surgery, Jones Auto Parts, Matrix Electric, Shroyder Pools and Spas, Lees Country RV, Stansberry Construction, Perry Franks Auto Sales, RRA Towing, Watsons Excavating, Central Indiana Distribution, Best Buy Auto Marts, Moss Glass, Fields Auto Parts and Poores Enterprises.
