Heavy Rains Force Postponement of Friday Night Program

Anderson Speedway has postponed the events scheduled for Friday, August 24 due to heavy rain showers. The program was scheduled to feature UMRA Midgets, ThunderCars and Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drives in Oval and Figure 8 action.

The rescheduled date for the UMRA Midgets will be Friday, September 21. All rain checks from Friday, August 24, will be honored for face value for an upcoming event at Anderson Speedway.

Racing action resumes on Saturday, August 25 with the School Bus Figure 8’s returning to the world’s fastest quarter-mile oval. The racing program will also showcase the 3rd Annual ThunderCup, CSR Mini Cups and a special Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drive Oval event.

On Saturday Night, spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with the racing program beginning at 8. Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.

Watch the NASCAR race on Saturday night on our big screen television provided by Chappy’s Rent to Own. A special will also take place with Budweiser and Bud Light selling for $2.
