Welch & Wilson Motorsports Continues Marketing Partnership with Anderson at CRA Events

(April 8, 2011) – Anderson Speedway officials announced today that Welch & Wilson Motorsports will continue its marketing partnership for the 2011 racing season at the high-banked quarter-mile oval. Welch & Wilson will feature its product Seal Wrap Repair Tape as the entitlement sponsor of the CRA Super Series events scheduled at Anderson on April 16 and August 1.

“We are excited to be involved with Welch & Wilson Motorsports for the 2011 season and their product Seal Wrap. It is amazing and racers will want to get their hands on it. Everyone will be hearing a lot about Seal Wrap in the coming weeks,” said Rick Dawson, owner of Anderson Speedway. “Welch & Wilson has helped elevate Late Model racing at Anderson Speedway to a higher level and their support of the Seal Wrap 125 in April and the Seal Wrap Redbud 300 are very important to the success of these events.”

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competitor and former World of Outlaws Champion Dave Blaney will serve as spokesperson for Seal Wrap and will be in attendance at the Seal Wrap Redbud 300.

Long time high school friends Jeff Welch and Curt Wilson were successful entrepreneurs and teamed together as business partner’s years ago to form Welch & Wilson. They both appreciate the competiveness and excitement of Motorsports and being owners of a race team proved to be a perfect fit. .

The CRA Super Series has a storied history at Anderson Speedway and the Northern Series opener on April 16 is shaping up to be one of most exciting Spring Late Model events held at the speedway. A talented list of drivers are expected including two-time consecutive April winner John Van Doorn, Seal Wrap Redbud winner Scott Hantz, rising star Ross Kenseth, Welch & Wilson Motorsports entrants Derrick Griffin and Tyler Roahrig among other top drivers in the Midwest. Along with the stout field of drivers, CRA recently announced double file restarts will debut for the Super Late Models at Anderson.

Anderson Speedway will continue to offer one of the most affordable tickets on the CRA tour in the Seal Wrap 125 presented by Great Deals Savings Magazine. Adult admission is $14, kids (6-12) $4 and five and under admitted free with a paying adult.
