Final Night of Trills on Saturday
School Bus Rides at 5:45, Racing 7

(October 11, 2011) – One of the final big events of the 2011 racing season at Anderson Speedway will be showcased on Saturday, October 15 with the exciting Night of Thrills presented by U.S. Air Force. Featured events include IOFS Outlaw Figure 8’s, School Bus Figure 8’s, Culver’s Trailer Race, Roll Over Contest, Front Wheel Drive Figure 8’s and Mini Cups.

The IOFS Outlaw Figure 8’s return for the fifth and final occasion this season and have produced some of the most exciting events all season long. Drivers that have scored victories at Anderson this year include Charlie Hargraves (April), Gary Bedell (June), Jack Dossey Jr. (July) and Gary Bedell (September).

Always one of the fan favorites, School Bus Figure 8’s will return to do battle in a 12-lap event. This will mark the third season appearance with Randy Owen scoring the victory in September ahead of Mike Irwin. At 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, Anderson Speedway will feature School Bus rides.

Chris Teepe wrapped up his 2011 Front Wheel Drive Figure 8 championship last weekend. Other strong performances were turned in by Elliott McKinney, Donnie Ellis, Trevin Henson and Harry Lashure.

Other thrilling events on the schedule for Saturday night include the Mini Cups, wild and crazy Culver’s Trailer Race and the Roll Over Contest.

On Saturday, October 15, spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with the racing beginning at 7. Admission is $12 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.
