Weddle Makes It Four Straight

26, 2012) – Chris Weddle continued his dominance in the
Thunder Roadster division recording his fourth win of the season leading the
entire distance, steadily pulling away from Darrell Brown and Doug Dugger.
With the front three pulling away after five laps, there was tight racing
for the fourth position with five drivers battling for the position. David
Lobbia brought out the only caution when he spun in turn one while holding
down the fifth spot.
Weddle went on to a comfortable win followed by Brown and Dugger. Marty
Griffin came home fourth with Larry Fritz credited with fifth.
In the first heat race John Robbins, a regular in the Legends Division, led
the entire distance to record his initial win in a Thunder Roadster.
Fast qualifier Nate Shrout was collected on turn two when Griffin spun on
lap six. Griffin recovered to finish second followed by Lobbia.
Weddle got his first heat race win of the year leading the entire distance
with Brown and Dugger scoring podium finishes.
