(June 7, 2013) - Anderson Speedway and CRA officials announced today that CRA Late Model Sportsman will see increased purses for two special events at Anderson Speedway.

The quarter-mile high-banked oval will host a McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models points event on Saturday July 6 and a McGunegill Engine Late Models and CRA/Top Speed Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS points race on Friday July 19, part of the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 Weekend. The ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance fill out the card for the always popular Redbud 300 Weekend.

Both of these special races will pay $1,500 to Win, $800 for second, with a standard purse throughout, and $150 to start. Both events will be 75 laps.

The events are both presented by Motion Motors with the July 6 race titles the Thompson Builders 75 and the July 19th event titled the PGG 75 also presented by Norrick Petroleum.

Anderson Speedway and CRA officials are expecting big fields for both races with some of the best competition in the area.
