Heavy Rain Showers Cancel MAX/WLBC Friday Night Summer Series

Anderson Speedway cancelled the opening night of the Yellow Book at the Races due to heavy rain showers on Friday, May 13. The MAX/WLBC Friday Night Summer Series was scheduled to feature Limited Late Models, Insight ThunderCars in Oval and Figure 8 action along with Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drives in Oval and Figure 8 racing.

Anderson Speedway returns to racing action on Saturday, May 14 with the conclusion of the Yellow Book Weekend at the Races. The Star Press Saturday Night Series will showcase Ed Martin Auto Group SuperTrucks, Terry’s RV Sales & Service Street Stocks, Boss Hogg Catering & Jerky Figure 8’s and Legends.

On Saturday Night, the spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with the racing beginning at 8 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.
