Ronnie Phipps and Clint Groves to be Featured on Track Talk Radio Show

Don Miller Tire Wheel to Wheel Weekend feature winners Ronnie Phipps and Clint Groves will be guests on the Wednesday, June 8, edition of Anderson Speedway’s Track Talk Radio Show on WHBU 1240 AM.

The one-hour racing radio show is broadcast every Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m. inside the Anderson Mounds Mall, hosted by veteran track announcer Denny Adams, WLBC News Director Tom Hammond and Public Relations Director/Office Manager Kyle Larson.

Ronnie Phipps recorded his first season victory in the Boss Hogg Catering & Jerky Figure 8’s on Saturday Night after leading all 20 laps in the main event. After the opening seven races, Phipps has driven the No. 31 owned by Robert Phipps to four top-five finishes. He carries primary sponsorship from Optical Communications.

Turning his 2005 season around in a big way, Westfield’s Clint Groves captured his first career Insight ThunderCar Oval checkered flag on Friday, June 3, during the MAX/WLBC Friday Night Summer Series. With the win, he advanced to 15th spot in the point standings. Groves has sponsorship from Integrity Excavating in his No. 48 ThunderCar owned by Dave Groves.
