8th Annual Weidner Chevrolet Stock Car Festival This Weekend

Anderson Speedway returns to racing action this weekend with the 8th Annual Weidner Chevrolet Stock Car Festival set for Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9.

The 8th Annual Weidner Chevrolet Stock Car Festival showcases 11 big divisions including SuperTrucks, Open Street Stocks, Figure 8’s, USAC Ford Focus Midgets, Indy URL Stock Cars and Trucks, Legends, Limited Late Models, Mini-Stocks, ThunderCars and Front Wheel Drives.

On Saturday, practice, qualifying and heat races will take place. Spectator gates open at 4 p.m. with racing beginning at 7. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for children 6-12 and free for five and under.

On Sunday, feature racing will take place for all 11 divisions. Spectator gates open at noon with racing starting at 1:30 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.

Two-day tickets can be purchased for $15, a savings of $5 on tickets for Saturday and Sunday. Fans can pick up tickets for the Stock Car Festival at the track office from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Advance tickets can also be purchased at Weidner Chevrolet.
